We frequently make trips down to the Vanilla Farm in Quepos, Costa Rica. On this unique tour, you get to see how they harvest and process various foods such as cacao, vanilla and Ceylon cinnamon. After you see the processing area, you go through a living bio dynamic farm where vanilla and other amazing plants are to be seen in every direction. You end up at an overlook where you have a tasting of some of the farms spices. After this, there is a spice shop where you can buy all types of goodies. I usually stock up on Ceylon bark ( for tea ) and bottles of the vanilla extract for my recipes.
